To become a Meta Certified Media Measurement Specialist, you need to be certified in at least one of the following media tracks: Meta Certified Digital Marketing Associate, Creative Strategy Professional, Media Planning Professional or Media Buying Professional. The course material for this specialist track focuses on interpreting measurement results and applying relevant next steps using a customized approach that doesn't require a statistical background. The training covers formulating hypotheses, evaluating measurement methods, designing successful tests, interpreting results and implementing appropriate actions based on those results.

Q: Is there a cost associated with becoming a Media Measurement Specialist?

A: The courses and assessments are free, but to obtain the Media Measurement Specialist badge, you need to be certified in one of the following tracks: Digital Marketing Associate, Creative Strategy Professional, Media Planning Professional or Media Buying Professional. Professional exams cost up to the equivalent of $150 USD, and associate exams cost up to the equivalent of $99 USD. The actual cost may differ by country. A: Each exam consists of 60 multiple-choice questions. You’ll have 90 minutes to complete the questions for an associate level exam. You’ll have 105 minutes to complete the questions for a professional level exam.

Q: What happens if I don’t pass the Media Measurement Specialist assessment on the first try?

A: You can take the assessment an unlimited number of times at no cost to you. You need to wait 24 hours after each attempt before retaking the assessment.

Q: When does my badge expire?

A: Your Media Measurement Specialist badge is valid for 12 months. Once your badge expires, you can renew it by retaking the course and assessments.
